Age Requirements & ID Policy

COSMETIC TATTOOING

Due to state regulations, I do not perform any tattoo services (including permanent makeup) on anyone under the age of 18. It is illegal in Wisconsin to tattoo a minor, even with parental consent.

PIERCING

Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Unfortunately, aunts, uncles, grandparents, older siblings, or family friends do not qualify unless they are the legal guardian and can provide documentation.

AGES 16–17

  • Photo ID is required for both the parent/legal guardian and the minor.

  • If last names do not match, please bring the minor’s birth certificate or other proof of legal guardianship.

AGES 8–15

  • I only offer earlobe piercings for clients under 16 years old.

  • Parent/legal guardian’s photo ID and the minor’s birth certificate are required.

  • If last names do not match, additional proof of legal guardianship is needed.

UNDER AGE 8

  • I do not perform piercings on anyone under 8 years old.

Guest Policy

PERMANENT MAKEUP APPOINTMENTS

Due to limited space and appointment length (approximately 3 hours), permanent makeup clients are not permitted to bring a guest. This allows me to focus fully on your procedure and ensures privacy and comfort.

PIERCING APPOINTMENTS

Piercing clients may bring one guest to their appointment. Minors receiving a piercing must have a legal guardian present. In this case, the guardian counts as the one guest allowed.

CHILDREN

Children may not attend appointments with their parents or guardians unless they are the client themselves and legally eligible for the service (i.e. minors receiving a piercing with a guardian). This helps maintain a safe and distraction-free environment for everyone in the studio.
