Eligibility Requirements

Permanent makeup (cosmetic tattooing) is a specialized procedure and is not suitable for everyone.
For your safety, I cannot perform permanent makeup services under any of the conditions listed below.
These are studio policies and are not medical advice. If you are unsure whether any of these apply to you, please consult a licensed healthcare professional prior to booking.

Permanent Cosmetics Cannot Be Performed If You:

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding

• Are currently experiencing any active infection

• Are using immunosuppressive treatments

• Have uncontrolled diabetes

• Have a history of keloid scarring

• Have undiagnosed or untreated heart conditions

• Have taken oral isotretinoin (Accutane) within the past year

• Have had laser resurfacing treatments within the past year

• Are at high risk of infection or require pre-dosed antibiotics for dental work

• Have been advised against cosmetic tattooing by a healthcare professional

• Are unable to provide informed consent

• Have had chemical peels, laser treatments, micro-needling, brow tinting, or similar procedures on the area within the past 4 weeks

• Have had Botox or relevant injectables in or near the treatment area within the past 2 weeks

• Arrive under the influence of alcohol, recreational substances, or impairing medications

• Are using substances that may interfere with the procedure or healing (consult a healthcare professional if unsure)

Pre-Appointment Requirements

To ensure the best experience and safest results, please follow the guidelines below before your scheduled appointment.
Booking an appointment signifies your agreement to these requirements.

Please ensure that you:

• Review the Policies and FAQ pages of this website

• Avoid caffeine and alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment

• Avoid substances that may increase bleeding or sensitivity prior to the procedure (consult a healthcare professional if unsure)

• Avoid strenuous workouts the day of your appointment

• Avoid intense sun exposure to the treatment area for 1 week before the appointment

• Discontinue the use of retinol, exfoliating acids, or resurfacing products on or near the area for 2 weeks prior

• Avoid waxing, tweezing, or shaping the brows for 2 weeks prior

• Avoid brow lamination for 4 weeks prior

• Avoid topical or oral steroids for 6 weeks prior, per studio policy

• Inform your artist in advance of any known allergies to numbing agents (such as lidocaine)

Aftercare Requirements

You will be provided with detailed written and verbal instructions along with aftercare products following your procedure.

Please keep the following in mind when selecting an appointment date:

• Swimming, saunas, hot tubs, and heavy sweating must be avoided for 1 week following your appointment

• Direct sun exposure must be avoided for 1 week following your appointment

• Active ingredient skincare, botox, lasers, and chemical treatments must be avoided for 2 weeks following your appointment

• You must not apply makeup to the tattooed area for 10 days following your appointment
